Wedding Weekend on Lake Como
Samaya and Karam’s wedding unfolded across two days on Lake Como, bringing friends and family together for a weekend that balanced a sense of grandeur with personality, energy and fun. The celebrations began with a welcome event at Villa Carminati Resta, before moving to the extraordinary Villa Erba for the wedding day.
The couple described their vision as “vintage glam” — classic with a modern edge, dramatic without feeling excessive. They wanted guests to arrive and immediately feel a sense of occasion, created not simply through décor, but through the setting, atmosphere, music and details surrounding them.
Villa Erba became particularly important to the visual direction we developed for their digital experience. Its architecture and ornate interiors offered a natural starting point for a design that could feel grand and elegant while still carrying the sense of personality Samaya and Karam wanted throughout their celebration.

The Creative Direction
For the wedding day, Villa Erba itself became our most important source of inspiration.
Rather than introducing decorative elements unrelated to the setting, we looked to the villa’s extraordinary interiors — particularly the ornamental ceiling — and reinterpreted its details through a series of bespoke illustrations.
Paired with a custom monogram and a refined typographic direction, these architectural references formed a visual identity that felt connected to the grandeur of the venue while bringing in the personality and modernity Samaya and Karam wanted.
The Digital Experience
The identity first reached guests through a bespoke digital Save the Date, before unfolding into the complete wedding website.
Designed as the central digital destination for the two-day celebration, the website brought together the itinerary, destination information and essential guest details within the same visual world. The custom illustrations and monogram appeared throughout, creating continuity from the first announcement through to the wedding weekend.
The guest Experience
Beyond the design itself, the website became an active part of planning the guest experience.
We created the bespoke RSVP journey and managed responses on behalf of the couple, while the website continued to serve as the central point of communication as the celebration approached.
